Finding Your New Normal

SOMETHING MEANINGFUL IS COMING
Everyone deserves the chance to begin again.
We're building a new approach to helping individuals and families find stability, opportunity, and a path forward.
Workforce Development
Building Skills. Creating Opportunities. Changing Lives.
A career can change a life. The right opportunity can change a generation.
At FYNN Corporation, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build a meaningful career, achieve financial independence, and create a future they can be proud of.
Our Workforce Development Department is designed to remove barriers to employment by connecting individuals with education, industry-recognized training, paid work experience, career placement opportunities, and the support needed to achieve lasting success.
We recognize that traditional education and employment systems don't work for everyone. Financial limitations, gaps in employment, involvement with the justice system, housing instability, and limited access to training can prevent capable individuals from reaching their full potential.
FYNN is building a different kind of workforce development system. One that meets people where they are and helps them get where they want to go.
From Education to Employment — And Beyond
Our approach goes beyond traditional job training.
FYNN is developing an integrated workforce development model that connects career exploration, technical education, hands-on experience, employer partnerships, and ongoing career support.
Participants will have opportunities to develop practical skills while gaining the confidence, professional experience, and industry connections necessary to succeed in today's workforce.
Our programs are being designed around five essential components:
1. Career Discovery & Individualized Planning
Every participant brings unique abilities, interests, experiences, and goals. Through career assessments, individualized planning, and professional guidance, FYNN will help participants identify career pathways that align with their strengths and long-term aspirations.
2. Industry-Aligned Education & Training
Our training programs will combine technical instruction, industry-standard software, practical applications, and professional development. Curricula will be designed with employer input to help ensure participants graduate with skills that translate into real employment opportunities.
3. Paid Work-Based Learning
Learning shouldn't stop in the classroom. FYNN plans to work with employers and workforce funding partners to create opportunities for paid, supervised on-the-job training, apprenticeships, and hands-on industry experience.
Our goal is to help participants gain valuable professional experience while earning income and developing marketable skills.
4. Employer Partnerships & Career Placement
FYNN will work directly with employers to understand workforce needs, develop relevant training programs, and connect qualified participants with career opportunities.
By building relationships between education providers, employers, and workforce development organizations, we aim to create a more effective transition from training to employment.
5. Career Advancement & Entrepreneurship
Our commitment doesn't end when someone gets their first job.
FYNN's long-term vision includes continued education, professional certifications, leadership development, and entrepreneurship training. We want participants to have the opportunity not only to enter an industry but also to advance within it, become leaders, and potentially establish businesses of their own.
Our First Workforce Development Initiative
Kitchen Design & Cabinetry Installation
Launching in St. Petersburg, Florida
FYNN's first planned workforce training initiative will focus on kitchen design, cabinetry, and installation — providing an entry point into the residential construction and building materials industries.
This program will draw upon the construction management, design, and building materials experience of FYNN founder Zachary Heath, along with planned partnerships with industry professionals, software providers, and employers.
Through our planned collaboration with ProKitchen, participants will learn professional kitchen design principles and develop skills using industry-specific design software.
Our curriculum will also incorporate applicable training standards from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), with a focus on construction fundamentals, safety, cabinetry, and installation practices.
The program is being developed to provide a pathway from beginner-level instruction to professional employment and, ultimately, business ownership.
The planned training pathway includes:
-
Foundational Education: An initial 12-week online learning experience introducing kitchen design, cabinetry, measurements, materials, professional software, and industry fundamentals.
-
Hands-On Training: Practical instruction and supervised work experiences that connect classroom learning with real-world projects.
-
Employment Opportunities: Partnerships with cabinet manufacturers, building material suppliers, design firms, contractors, and other industry employers.
-
Entrepreneurship Development: Advanced instruction in estimating, project management, customer relationships, business operations, and the skills needed to operate an independent design or installation business.
As FYNN grows, we intend to expand this training model into additional construction trades and other industries with demonstrated workforce needs.
Creating Opportunity for Those Facing Barriers
FYNN is committed to building an inclusive workforce development system that recognizes potential rather than defining people by their circumstances.
Our programs are being designed to support individuals facing employment barriers, including those transitioning from foster care, experiencing housing instability, rebuilding their lives after domestic violence, returning from incarceration, or seeking a new career direction.
Through collaboration with FYNN's Housing and Healthcare departments and community partners, participants will be connected with supportive resources intended to address challenges that can interfere with education, employment, and long-term stability.
Because sustainable employment is about more than getting hired. It's about having the resources, stability, and opportunity to succeed.
Building a Stronger Workforce. Strengthening Our Communities.
FYNN's workforce development mission extends beyond individual career success.
When people gain access to education, stable employment, and opportunities for advancement, the benefits reach families, businesses, and entire communities.
Our long-term vision is to develop a scalable workforce development model that can be replicated in communities across Florida and eventually throughout the United States.
We intend to measure our impact through meaningful outcomes, including training completion, certifications earned, employment placement, wage progression, job retention, and business creation.
By aligning education with real workforce demand and surrounding participants with coordinated support, FYNN aims to help create lasting economic opportunity.
